Facilities and Grounds
Facilities and Grounds has increased the frequency of custodial services to all Churchill County buildings under its care. Custodial staff will go through all facilities that have public interaction during business hours.
The focus will be counter tops, lobby/reception areas, door handles, restrooms, handrails, elevators, chairs, tables and the like.
Doors are unlocked and up to 10 customers are allowed in the building at a time, including Court Services customers.
We are still encouraging use of the electronic forms and filing features we have been using for a period of time now.
We will offer outdoor weddings in the gazebo behind the Court with a maximum of ten persons allowed at the ceremony.
Inmates will still be seen via video except for the statutorily-required exceptions.
We will still encourage telephonic attendance in court as a preferred method but will be open to in-person hearings within the 10-person allowance.
The after-hours drop box at the Sheriff’s Office has been very valuable and we thank the Sheriff for working with us on this.
Please contact us at (775)423-2845 for any questions.
