he policy and purpose of the Office of the Court Clerk is to provide professional, efficient and courteous service to the public and professionals it comes in contact with. Also to provide the District court with the personnel to maintain case records, handle financial transactions, assist during Court hearings and trials and to act as Jury Commissioner.

Computers have maintained the records of the Clerk’s office since 1989 allowing for better service to the public when searches are conducted. The Chief Court Clerk is currently serving on a statewide committee, the Nevada Rural Court System, which is in the process of attempting to upgrade the software programs of the rural Courts and establish more standardization among Nevada’s rural Courts.
