While there are
books on shelves of the Churchill County Law Library, including the Nevada Revised Statutes
and the Pacific Reporter, most
research is now done on the computer through
Westlaw® or
the Internet. There is a computer available to the
public for such research, and any information can be downloaded to a
disk or printed upon request.
The
process is user-friendly with instructions for use posted
by the computer. For further instruction, an appointment can
be made with the law clerk (e-mail:
distct-lawclk@churchillcounty.org).
This manner of maintaining the law library allows for the most
current information in the least amount of space.
The law library is available during normal business hours:
Monday thru Friday from 8am to 5pm (excluding holidays). |
