Zumba Classes

Zumba Fitness is a dance Fitness program created by Columbian Choreographer, Beto Perez in the 90's. A certification must be obtained to teach Zumba classes.

Zumba Fitness is a cardio interval workout that incorporates basic and easy to follow Salsa, Merengue, Soca, Cumbia, Belly dance, Filmi, Squats, Lunges, Reggaton, and many other Aerobic Elements. It is the melting pot of fitness and most importantly you do NOT need dance experience to participate and be successsful in the class.

Zumba is an extremely effective workout, as you can potentially burn 400-800 calories in an hour long class. The best part of the class is that it is FUN, "Exercise in Disguise." There are many different varieties of Zumba classes that are tailored to all ages, fitness levels, women and men. The different classes offered and detailed discriptions can be found on Zumba.com.
