In continuing with the traditions of the past, The Churchill County Parks and Recreation Department is proud to team up with the City of Fallon and the Chamber of Commerce to bring you the Picnic in the Park, 4th of July Celebration.

This event includes everything a real 4th of July Celebration should have, including a parade, music, games, activities for all ages and of course, food. 

The parade will begin at 10:00 am and travel through town, with the picnic festivities starting at 10:30 am at the Churchill County Fairgrounds.

There will be activities for all ages, including:

  - Texaco Country Showdown (Presented by KHWG)
  - Baking Competition
  - Live Music
  - Pioneer Days Fesitval (Presented by CC Museum)
  - Movie in the Park
  - Family Picnic areas
  - Games and Activities for children
  - Bounce Houses and Inflatables
