of the Library Volunteers have operated the Churchill County Library
used bookstore, Serendipity Corner, since 1 986. Store hours are
Monday through Friday,
1Oam to 4pm. The funds the store raises assist the library by purchasing
supplies and equipment and supporting programs not normally covered by
the library’s budget.
Some of the items purchased and programs supported
include: best seller books, bookracks, audio books, support for the
Summer Reading program, computer software, and electronic equipment. The
store is able to do all this through the generosity of the public.
The store believes "For every book, a
reader." Because of this, our prices are very reasonable,
ranging from 25 cents to $2. We are always seeking volunteers to process
donations and to staff the store. Your support of the library by
donating new, used, or unwanted books are appreciated and can be
tax-deductible.
