Welcome to Parks and Recreation!
Hello Neighbors and Visitors,

This is your one stop needed to have all your recreation goals fulfilled. Here in Churchill County, our department has put together a varied schedule of programs, classes, and leagues. We will continue to provide standards like the Haunted House & Hay Ride, Dog Obedience, Pee Wee Karate, Self-Defense, Fly Fishing and the Ski Program. We will continue to offer our `B` League Women’s Volleyball league, Coed Volleyball leagues, Youth Coed Basketball Tournament, and youth basketball camps. As well, we offer monthly yoga, painting courses and our always popular youth football camp.

With Churchill County Parks and Recreation, you will be able to keep yourself busy year round. There is no limit to the amount of programs we can and will run. If there is something you’re looking to do, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We may already offer it.

Churchill County Parks and Recreation is proud to present the community this season’s programs and events! Our goal is to provide, you our patrons, with the finest in recreation programs and events. With the turning of the seasons we will continue to offer our traditional favorites like the New Year’s 5K fun run/walk, Scarecrow Factory and the Winter Fun Day Camp.

When your looking to stay fit no matter the temperature outside, a good place to always go is the Indoor Pool. The Pool is offering swimming lessons, Pool Birthday packages, pool rental, water aerobic classes, and much more. Our lifeguards receive an array of training and are certified, and they are always willing to help, so come by the pool and say hello.
