| Recovery Month Half Marathon/5K |
Churchill County Parks & Recreation and the Chruchill Community Coalition invite you to join in the annual Recovery Month Half marathon (plus) and 5K walk/run. The races will be held on September 18, 2010. Each run will begin at the Pioneer Park, (Located on North Maine Street, across from the Lahonton Valley News). The entry fee is $10 per individual with event T-shirt for the 5k. $20 with a Dry-Fit technical shirt for the entrants of the Half-marathon. T-shirt guaranteed if registered before 8/21/09. Check-in and pre-registration will start at 5:45am, with the Half-Marathon race beginning at 6:30am (sharp). The 5k walk/run will begin at 7:30am. The post race awards ceremony will be held at 10:00 am. Join us for the rest of the day of fun filled activites, music, softball and a barbeque picnic. The Churchill County Coalition is now taking registration for the events, 90 N. Maine, Suite 301. Packet-Pick up for the race will be available Friday September 17, 2010 from 8 am to 3 pm at the Churchill County Parks and Recreation office located at 325 Sheckler Road.
