The applicants would like to replace the 1978 manufactured home on the back of the property with a 2000 doublewide manufactured home. The older home has water damage and is uninhabitable. The applicants plan to place the new home on a permanent foundation and convert it to real property. The applicant is requesting a special use permit under Chapter 16.08.150.D of the Churchill County Code to expand the existing geothermal operation. They would like to construct and operate the Stillwater II Geothermal Project, a 29 MW (net) binary geothermal electrical generation facility and geothermal well field expansion project, adjacent to the existing Stillwater I Geothermal Power Plant. The existing 60 kV transmission line and substation will be utilized by the new facility. This is a continuation from October 10th, 2007.
