CHURCHILL COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Churchill County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on 10 December 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Churchill County Administration Complex, County Commission Chambers, 155 North Taylor Street, Fallon, Nevada. HUCKE – An application for a special use permit for property located at 6125 Casey Road, Assessor’s Parcel Number 008-591-34 consisting of 51.38-acres with 23.83 acres of water-righted property located in the A-5 land use district. The applicant is requesting a special use permit under Chapter 16.08.140.D of the Churchill County Code to operate a pre-school in her home. The applicant is requesting a special use permit under Chapter 16.08.150.D of the Churchill County Code to operate a leather shop in the existing shop building on the property. He has four employees that would come to the shop and the hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All work is done inside the building and there will not be any tanning of the leather done on the property. The applicant is requesting a special use permit under Chapter 16.08.140.D of the Churchill County Code to store empty roll off units on a portion, approximately one to one and a half acres of the property. The applicant proposes to fence in the area intended for this storage and screen it off from view. Hours of operation would be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and some drop off and removal of units on Saturday.
