Churchill County Sheriff Patrol
The Patrol Division consisted of 4 Patrol Sergeants and 12 Patrol Deputies. The Deputies assigned to this division are responsible for 24-hour coverage 365 days a year. One Deputy is assigned to the North Central Narcotics Task Force.

The Patrol Division is usually first on scene for all calls for service that are reported in Churchill County. These calls range from minor disputes to major felony crimes.

Another major role of the Patrol Division is to provide patrol and presence within the county to deter criminal activity. Patrol is considered to be one of the best crime prevention measures.

The Patrol Division is also responsible for completing services that included the physical/visual inspection of residences while people are on vacation, in the hospital or new homes under construction.

The Patrol Division conducts physical checks of businesses in Churchill County during closed hours and on weekends.

Patrol assisted with traffic control events throughout the county, including Churchill County High School Graduation and the Cantaloupe Festival.
