DEPARTMENT FUNCTIONS:

Interview and counsel clients on the availability of veteran-related services and benefits.
Develop, file, monitor and appeal claims on behalf of clients.
Review Service Medical Record of separating service members prior to separation to ensure accuracy and completeness of any disability claim submitted to the VA.
Conduct monthly informational briefings at Fallon NAS to military members preparing for separation or retirement from active military service.
Assist any veterans receiving debt letters with income statements, waiver requests or other forms received from the VA regarding this debt collection.
