The Churchill County Surplus Auction will be held at the Churchill County Road Department Yard, 330 N Broadway St., Fallon, NV 89406 on June 27, 2009 starting at 10:00 a.m.  The Surplus Auction list of available items may be obtained at the Road Department office along with an information page, or it may be downloaded:

A “VISUAL” equipment inspection will be held Friday, June 26th, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Churchill County Road Department Yard. Please check in at the office before previewing.

You are welcome to download the presentation and notes from the Economic Development discussion that took place at the Churchill County Planning Commission workshop meeting on March 24, 2009.  We appreciate all of those who attended and shared their ideas and suggestions.  Please look forward to attending the next workshop meeting on April 28, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at the Commissioners’ Chambers, 155 N Taylor Street, to continue discussions on the Economic Development portion of the Master Plan update.  We have invited the Fallon Convention & Tourism Authority to present some information that could be used to assist the economy of our community.  Please join us!
