Churchill County Parks and Recreation is pleased to offer annual Summer Youth Football and Cheer Camps. We’ve partnered with local coaches to provide a week-long skills development camp for youth ages 5 and up. Skills taught include blocking, tackling, ball handling, catching, terminology, routines, stunts, cheers, and more!

Churchill County Parks and Recreation invites you to join instructor Tammie Shemenski for winter instruction on fastpitch softball pitching. This clinic will help girls ages 6 to 18 develop skills for softball season. The clinic will take place at the City-County Gymnasium on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Equipment: Bring a glove and wear sneakers to the gym (preferably white-soled shoes, absolutely no cleats!) A parent must stay at the clinic during the 6 to 12 age group practices at all times. Athletes are asked to bring a catcher if possible to allow for more practice time for each participant.
