The 2021-22 Churchill County Community Development Block Grant pre-application is now available at the Churchill County Social Services located at 485 West B Street, Suite 105, in Fallon, Nevada.
Notice is hereby given that Churchill County released the pre-application for the FY21-22 Community Development Block Grant Program during the regularly scheduled Board of County Commissioners Meeting on March 17, 2021.
Proposed priorities for application submittal include:
- Increased access to sheltering and medical services.
- Community based strategies to conduct testing, tracing and reduction of infectious disease.
- Access and education to health services that prompt reduction in spread of infectious disease.
Projects submitted must be eligible under the State CDBG program and must meet one or more of the proposed County and State priorities for the CV ROUND 2 and 3.

A public hearing will be held on April 1, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. to set community priorities and allow for reapplications to present their projects for approval for submittal to the Governor’s Office of Economic Development for eligibility determination.
