Christine Kelly, the Nevada Radon Education Program Manager at the University of Nevada, Reno Extension, will offer a free radon education class at the Churchill County Cooperative Extension Office on March 22 at 1:30 p.m. Anyone interested in learning more about the dangers of radon gas in homes, offices, and schools.
Radon causes lung cancer so it is important to know about the importance of testing and mitigation options. Attendees will receive a free radon test kit.
The County’s Cooperative Extension Office is located at 111 Sheckler Road in Fallon.
